Our methodology

Hands-on math for Ages 4–10 — built for kids and parents together.

Placeholder — final write-up will be provided by the program team.

Hands On Math uses a unique, hands-on approach to mathematics for Ages 4–10. Children learn by doing: building, puzzling, strategizing, and applying ideas to real situations.

Core principles

  • Hands-on learning — manipulatives, games, and group activities
  • Problem-solving — strategies, not just answers
  • Critical thinking — explain, justify, and explore
  • Real-world connections — math that makes sense outside the classroom
  • Gamified engagement — playful challenges that build stamina and joy
